Although I hold WOW & WES I do shop at Aldi sometimes. I find their range so limited I still have to go to Coles or Woolies to get the rest of our groceries. So effectively, they have spent $$$ on advertising & gotten me through the door but because their range is small I have to leave & continue my shopping at the opposition. Getting the customer into the store is difficult enough so keep them there. Woolies & Coles have a much bigger range & they have the right formular for keeping customers in the store & spending. When I go to Aldi I just want get everything I need & get out. Aldi should piss off the middle aisle crap & stock more groceries. We go to Aldi to buy groceries, if I need a tent I go to a camping store, a welder or a furry steering wheel cover I go to Repco, a TV to an electrical store. It's boring enough grocery shopping without having to go from shop to shop. If they must sell that stuff open a "big A" . Anyway I hope they don't work this out.
