Why would KKR want an Australian commercial property company that sells a few groceries at inflated prices.
WOW uses its so called highly expensive groceries as a ruse for paying a dividend heavily levered on commercial property reserve projections. That resembles Tesco's valuations and asset revaluations, most global standards don't allow such "accounting" policies?
KKR may have run out of other ideas for Private Equity takeovers.
KKR's intentions in Taking WOW might be true, but there are cash flow businesses in the U.S. that look better for KKR. I doubt KKR will TO WOW.
