taylor collison is the Placement Broker and is showing net Buying.
CMC does CFD's so perhaps that explains it's nett Sells? otherwise it can be classified as retail? perhaps selling placement/SPP shares of 17?Pershing could be classified as a boutique/specialist broker and so could have been the seller on the chairman's passing?
Remember that it is thought very unlikely that CFD' shorts are included on the Official List [or in shortman]
I'm thinking that the placement shares closed the CMC open shorts thus explaining the nett sells by CMC?
but am really ignorant of the short mechanism.
but of course a CMC client could also done the "death news". That was 1 million shares sold in one hit, wasn't it?
