They leave the materiality to the discretion of the company/ competent person.
They need to advise in the qtr report if there has been a change.
Your example of 3.14% to 5% is more than material in anyone's view.
Now, have you actually read and understood what the company has done in the 3.14 to 5% table.
They are drill holes used in the JORC, the company has selected drill holes that averaged 5% before the 20% cut off was applied on two holes that brought the average down to 3.14%
IMO, they have had this data since the last JORC. They have carefully selected the drill holes to get to 5%
If they were actual mining results then I would be overjoyed. But they are not mining results, the table is merely an example for the company to point out short comings they feel exist in the JORC. It is also possible they hit the only significant copper in each of those two holes and the rest of yhe block was empty.
Once they start publishing actual mining results compared tomJORC figures for the areas mined, I will take notice of a better resource.
I am not a miner but I do know how to interpret company reports and this one in no way proves that they went from 3.14% to 5%. It even says it is an example.
