Hi Dr Dave,
This is an interesting company. Not only because it was about the only green in my portfolio today!
Having had the need for help with the house redo and being very frustrated with what is on offer this hits the need criteria for me. Financially there seems a number of ways it will make money. Has the potential to be a large retail / wholesale group as well as just decorator. Having a professional sift and then recommend items with reference to your own needs/likes seems a service that would be wanted by many given the innumerable options out there. Particularly if the buyer is time poor, lacking in design talent, lives in an area where you can not see many upper end showrooms (of course small operators can now get their items sold more as they will presumably have been examined and recommended by decorators thus giving buyers more confidence over the net) or just wants to get it done with a minimum of fuss. I assume the prices of the items will be lower as the furniture makers can sell direct thus getting rid of even more showrooms and mark ups.
Anyway just a few random thoughts whilst waiting in the car for the young bloke to finish school!
Cheers all
