Brainchip technology Claims

Peter van der Made, has created an exciting new Spiking Neural Networking technology that has the ability to learn autonomously, evolve and associate information just like the human brain without the need for software.

It is difficult enough for a machine to be programmed to do anything. even if it was smart enough to understand a few situations, it would still have to advance to the point of billions of virtual man hours of "learning" to be at our level.
We as human took millions of years to evolve and to think a machine might be able to catch up in a short time, like a few years, is nothing but the wildest of dreams.

IMO, Brainchip's claims at this point in time go far beyond the realms of science fiction

Therefore after 8 years in the making and still yet to be proven - I would classify brain chip as a Science Fiction stock rather than a Speculative stock

However again I will say this, if this fails I believe it will have nothing to do with the actual tech
