fresh highs comex silver 1520 copper 404 gold Yes, US market indexes such as the SOX semiconductors and Nasdaq have been weakening since Monday and were due to correct sharply being full of overpriced old style tech trash with paltry earnings.
Stocks such as AMZN, DELL are being slaughtered with fresh lows. Little relevance for the commodity driven ASX perhaps.
US copper giant Phelps Dodge saw a new high overnight early and has taken little damage. Oil company BP PLC's ADR has similarly taken little damage overnight Stateside, despite the sell off.
However commodities are currently storming higher due to genuine persistent demand. The ASX may be less affected.
