I'm not sure how many places its being advertised - many of the platforms geo target offers to different people based on IP/Location/Device etc so its hard to check.

I just loaded up the "Free Mobile Recharge" app though and there is still an offer for Zipt download and install on it for 30 Rupees (~AUD $0.60c), so its still being promoted via some channels.

The reviews don't appear to be incentivized as much though (based purely on the content and star ratings) in the Play Store that I have read. The previous paid reviews were sometimes very obvious as they were usually 5 star and just recited all the app features, the current ones are more varied and actually seem written based on genuine feedback (whether positive or negative).

I would assume Ziptel have changed their marketing channels/objectives now they have a decent base of downloads and reviews in the Play Store. Enough at least to give some substance for their Brett Lee promos.
