I am not arguing with you about efficiencies... All of your data is on the money and you are so right with everything ur saying... But the practicalities of a sun tracking dish in the back yard aren't good when the diy market for home renovation and improvement are massive.. People want their houses to look nice. They also want to be self sufficient. Tesla have provided the power wall to make that happen. Most people use from 8 to 30 kW a day getting that from a 3 to 10 kW in efficient flat panel system isn't that expensive and is easy. Set and forget... Cheap cause so many cheap shitty panels Are coming out of China... People are silly and dot care about efficiency!!!! That's where silex don't have a market in my opinion.. Great for a solar farm,, but aren't being used their but have no other purpose.. Setting up ditribution networks in local areas get costly and messy.. People want to be self sufficient... Imo
