Talisman Mining's (ASX:TLM) shares have been in a tear recently, with the closing price of $0.53 yesterday triple the value of the company from just a month ago.
Talisman and Sandfire Resources' (ASX:SFR) are in a joint venture at the Monty Prospect within Talisman’s Springfield Project.
This forms part of an exploration farm-in joint venture between the companies.
Sandfire has the right to earn up to a 70% interest in Talisman’s Doolgunna Project (including Springfield) by the expenditure of $15 million.
Driving the share price recently was: 16.5 metres at 18.9% copper and 2.1g/t gold from 409.5 metres.
The discovery was made just 10 kilometres east of Sandfire’s DeGrussa Copper-Gold Mine in Western Australia.Talisman is now heading to market with a capital raising.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Friday 10th July 2015, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
