    Paddy was admitted to hopital with both his ears badly burned. The Doctor asked him what happened

    "Well I was doing da ironing when da phone rang and widdout tinking I put da iron to ma ear".

    " What about the other ear?" asked the Doctor.

    "Well," said Paddy, "I did dat one a callin for da ambulance."
