If they can intervene with TH the I see no reason why they cannot use pro rata days for trading for each company listed so that each small cap will accompany large cap to mask anyore index weighting destruction. Or they can introduce max allowable $$ position selling for each punter and pro rata basis again. Or just force holders to hold long term or sell to crystalize gain with 100% tax on profits. Creative possibilities to intervene is in the amount of drugs the authority takes when formulating.
