The only meaningful update the Company could have provdied was to divulge details of commercial in confidence negotiations which clearly are not required to be disclosed under continuous disclosure information and which would breach of legal duties owed to those we are seeking to do business with.
Expected timetables set by the Company should not be seen as a concrete gurantee because that timeline is also dependent on third parties on whom we are somewhat reliant. I would much rather they negotiate the best tolling fee and lowest EPC lump sum as possible rather than expedite negotiations that will bind us for the next 20 years.
Clearly none of us like waiting, but sometimes no news is just as often good news and it is bad. And given the severe macro headwinds our SP has held up ok to be honest.
