Tipped to rise: Telstra
Australian equity mainstay Telstra is also tipped to enjoy a lift as the dollar drops off as its reliability and size will stand it in good stead as investors seek security.
"In a higher-risk environment, investors reward defensive factors. Large-cap stocks outperform along with those with stable earnings, strong profitability and supportive valuations," Macquarie researchers said.
On Tuesday morning it was trading at $6.23, up 13.71 per cent since June 2014
