May as well get all the sensationalist rubbish out if the way now Tas.
The media loves doing hatchet jobs on anything it can that has a negative to it.What these wallys cant do is look beyond to what lies beneath and that is FUNDAMENTALS.The fundamentals say that China/India will continue to grow at high single figures for the next decade.
Its old news that the funds have turned the price of commodities into a joke and Ive no doubt that its going to have to be regulated better.All that one has to do is look to the longer term contract prices for a better idea of where these commodities will be in 3 to 6 months.Sure thats not as great as it is now(for how long) but its still a damned site better than it was 5 years ago.Imo the reason drawdown has slowed on zinc is because of these inflated prices.It will be interesting to see just how zinc drawdown reacts once we have had a decent correction,say 30%.
This is a great opportunity to pick up fundamentally strong stocks.You have to pick and choose but they are out there and the markets will show it in quick time post this retrace/correction just who they are.
