The attitude expressed by redonred seems fairly symptomatic of investors who reason they can just keep an eye on the SP and join (or re-join) the party at their leisure without much fear of missing some tremendous re-rate occurring in the course of a single day and maybe make a quid on something else in the meantime.
Bit frustrating for all the waiters hanging around the venue for years talking about how awesome the party will be, hearing the band has eventually been selected, the roadies hired and watching the amps getting unloaded and the speakers set up.
Trying to insinuate the party will be missed by those who don't buy a ticket now has continued all the way down from when the SP was in the teens and is just falling on deaf ears at 6.9 cents
I guess the 'threat' to that scenario is some Insto crunching a few numbers and buying a lot on market quickly, but when did a smart institutional investor ever do that? It usually only becomes slowly apparent that someone is building a stake and there is still time to join in if you are monitoring closely.
Certainly exciting times ahead for the company and satisfactory for those with a comfortable investment horizon into 2016 and beyond and who those who didn't buy their shares for nearly 3 x the current SP, four years ago.
Incidentally, whatever did happen to that (from memory) 15 feet of 50% copper assay? Just a stray boulder of copper? I don't recall if anyone ever took the trouble to track the back story to that assay and when the company stopped referring to it altogether. (Apologies if it was cleared up either by the company or a poster and I missed or or have forgotten, but it was pretty sensational and I've always wondered what happened to it).
