I have just finished reading the announcement again and i totally agree with you these results are remarkable.
The 3 bullet points from the first paragraph alone is a whopping claim:
* Increased speed transfers of over 100%;
* Peaks over 300%; and
* Minimum data savings of 18% with peaks as high as 42%
That previous poster stating "18% is not worth the saving" i dont think they understand exactly what has been achieved here.
If you rephrase what the announcement saying, what they are claiming is that the tests showed they have been able to transfer data as much as 3 times faster (300%) and at the same time they are saving a minimum 18 to 42% of data.
