just before a trip over that way, Florida changed its self defence law from the previous "take a step back" requirement to the "stand your ground" mode, meaning you can use your weapon if you feel threatened in any way.
That would not bode well for a large Aussie who jumps out of his car waving a fist.........
The Tourist Bureau was going to print leaflets to visitors to the area warning them not to argue with the locals, and specifically in the case of a motor vehicle accident, to keep calm, speak softly, and keep your hands in sight at all times, lol.
None of the good old Aussie pulling the handbrake on when tooted at and leaping out with a "Tell me your problem while you can still talk....."

which reminds me.....the only toot I heard over there was someone tooting to let you know you can cut into the lane ahead of him..... No agressive driving, giving the finger, or even facial expressions of displeasure...
They are certainly better behaved....
