It is a good point in the sense that the business model will have to be viable for the sending business (seems a lot more obvious for the receiving business). However imagine i am a 7/11 with an existing cashfloat, existing overhead, this is just another margin product to offer. Maybe something like this will be the model?
Everyone knows remittance is majority one way in third world(different in first world tranfers where a product like Transferwise is really good) so i would imagine they have a strategy. You wouldnt expect them to detail everything publically. Most remittance companies disclose very little details of operations, the publicly owned ones are they major source of data but even then a lot of accounting methods used to distort info.
