which is why i think their JV partners will be looking to bring on established businesses (as others have mentioned, like 7/11 or other general stores) who already have decent cashflows. most of these businesses would be storing cash for up to a week at a time in safes before transporting it or having it taken to the bank for processing. so obviously not every single mug with a telephone can become an air-agent, you will need some sort of capital to start with. i don't think anyone was questioning that. but in reality i don't think a well run small business will struggle to have enough cash for their operations to run smoothly. worst case scenario, they have to withdraw cash from the bank.
and to people who are asking 'would an airagent do it for $1?' well, news agents and petrol stations sell transport tickets, pre-paid telephone vouchers and other super-low margin products simply because there is enough volume to make it profitable. each transaction in and of itself is not going to make you rich, but when its happening 100s of times each day, it adds up.
