Of course Jerusalem is a holy site for Roamn Catholics.
Who said it wasn't?
But show mw where Roman Catholics lay claim to Jerusalem because of their holy sites?
We are more than happy to make everyone's holy sites accessable to everyone.....unlike the Jordanians who prior to the 6 Day War did not allow Jews even to the Wailing (Western Wall) the remnant wall of the Jewish Temple.
And even today the Palestinians get in a fury when Jews want to go to the Temple Mount, the place where the Jewish Temple stood...And why?
Because the Muslims built a mosque there.
Of course everyone has forgotten that Islam turned up 600 years after Christianity who themselves turend up 1,000 years after the Jews.
And that's why Jersaulem will stay under Jewish control. Everyone will be able to worship where ever they wish.
Islam does not offer that luxury nor the guarantee thereof.
And Littletree, let's get one thing straight. I can accept Catholic holy places in Jerusalem.
I have trouble with humbugs who would have us believe that Jerusaelm is the most holy place when
1. Catholics have made the Vatican their holy of holies. Where's that? Italy! Why Italy? Was Christ ever in Italy? Why not China?
2. Muslims have Mecca as number 1 and Medina as number 2 and .....Jerusalem ....last!
Jews only have Jerusalem.......we want nothing else. Israel is our country and Jerusalem is and will be it's everlasting capital.
Something special about Jerusalem...........the city of David.........(not the city of Abdullah, Mohhamad or Pope John......It's the city of David)........otherwise no one would want to take it off us........
