Australia's DCA Group Down To Final 2-3 On UK Contracts
MELBOURNE (Dow Jones)--Australian aged care and radiology company DCA Group Ltd. (DVC.AU) Wednesday said it is on the shortlist for three contracts with the U.K.'s National Health Service.
Each contract is worth between GBP30 million to GBP40 million a year. DCA is bidding for the diagnostic imaging contracts with its U.K. joint venture partner Carillion PLC (CLLN.LN) and will receive around 70% of the earnings.
"We're down the short-listed short-list," Managing Director David Vaux told Dow Jones Newswires in an interview.
"We've got three active bids on foot, we're down to the last two or three in each of those contracts so we must have a reasonable chance," Vaux said.
He expects the preferred bidder to be announced at the end of May or early June.
Broker JP Morgan said in a research the contracts would add between 35 to 50 cents to its SP
