BHP:
“Better productivity will be the sole source of volume growth at Western Australia Iron Ore in the 2016 financial year, with production forecast to increase by seven per cent and unit costs are expected to fall to US$16 per tonne,” managing director Andrew Mackenzie said.

FMG:
If we achieve unit cost of US$18 per tonne, that will be only US$2/t different between BHP & FMG.
I have to add, BHP produced a better grade of iron ore, would be around US$4.5 per tonne difference.
