if the risk profile has changed in a significant way for alliance then i think a judgement maybe a consideration for alliance.

i think quasar's risk profile is such that they would be happy to see the stay of proceeding remain in place and ultimately for the case to be closed without judgement based on their accepted offer made to alliance.

i think this is now all about risk management for both alliance and quasar. which is sort of obvious.
