Singing The question has often been do they need the capital in order to deliver the good news. A sensible view would be that anyone interested in signing a deal or collaboration would probably not be keen knowing they only had 1-2 million cash. Wouldnt last long unless they were coughing up a big up front, which has never happened yet. Now tjey have 10 million maybe "multiple interested parties" will finally sign on. Only problem is are we again funding their research for them as havent seen much return from any deals yet. Janssen probably handed over the bulk of income, very little from others. Hopefully this time all the potential 100 mil milestone blah blah actually happens??
Wouldnt hold my breath though. How long has new genentech deal been running and again no apparent income on a supposed 140 mil deal.
