I am sure, Abube, in the millennia ahead, the oceans will provide more for the needs of humankind, than the pittance at the moment. Whether this coincides with an ASX-centred profit doesn't really concern me that much. Not too sure if AEB management possess the vision, drive and ability to capitalise on the exciting times ahead (which is a pity), but someone will. (despite the naysayers) What comes out of the ocean is an unrealised, untapped potential that we have so far just glimpsed; a couple of snowflakes from the tip of the iceberg.
Plenty of space in this continent, off and on-shore to harness these riches; time will tell. (Tassie salmon ventures haven't done that badly....algae will follow eventually). Patience.
