The sell is forcing out smaller parcels, the buy was buying larger chunks than the sell was putting out so the price moved up. That $2 call is an interesting one. It assumes potential buyers won't come back once the bot movement steadied. I don't think that part is correct. But I think the niggles you're getting off the thin and wide volume are well justified - I just happen to think the pundits will show up again.

This stock has always been full of bot actions - multiple brokers playing with each other. The intraday movements are very unpredictable - when you think it goes one direction the next minute it bolted the other way with pretty big spreads on tiny trades. Maybe the same reason that squeezed out all the retail payers.
I'm holding this one until sp is $100
