It just needs a catalyst to give it a push.
If a catalyst comes in the middle of a downtrend, it will have to be a HUGE catalyst to move the SP.
If a catalyst comes when it's wanting to poke its head upto new highs, the catalyst needs to be much smaller to push it through.
