Wrong chuck. The human shields had to go where the regime told them to go, and as a result many left Iraq. The die-hards who remained could have been stationed anywhere.
In any case and whatever the shields misguided intents were they effectively gave support to the Saddam regime and could now be despised by the people.
They are certainly laughing stocks now, no hero's welcome back for any of them.
