Who cares what I am except that I know what I'm talking about, I'm not an employee or related in any way. I'm an investor who knows a lot about mining and a lot about markets.

I invested a substantial amount of my own money in this so completed a lot of work. I wasn't concerned about the silt or the mill or resource but the pit stability was the main "risk" issue.

So I did work on that issue - I was confident they were handling it ok with monitoring, progressive removal and water management. And my view was the shallow slope of the wall would mean any failure would be manageable.

I obviously didn't predict the failure however nor this latest gold rout.

But I believe gold will soon go up a long long way and the mining business will be "like owning a old mine..."

I found something interesting today which I'll post in a second.
