The presence of low-grade copper mineralisation in close proximity to the high-grade copper at Monty, therefore, suggests that historic copper oxide intersections returned from Australian Mines’ Burton prospect such as 4 metres @ 0.23% copper from 18 metres down hole (drill hole NKB0719)10, located 150 metres east of the Burton conductor, must be viewed as significant.
Having addressed the tenement boundary constraint issue during this quarter,11 Australian Mines have mobilised a down hole EM crew to the Burton prospect to survey drill hole MMRC003 (and selected historic drill holes) and test for any off-hole conductors that may represent potential massive sulphide mineralisation at depth.
The Company has also commissioned an RC drill program over the main bedrock conductor at Burton as well as extending the EM coverage over this prospective copper target.
This is what I'm really interested in!
Looks like we will see some EM down hole test results soon, followed by drilling.
