Yes, daily volume of short sales has been low after 27/7, the day of the profit announcement.
Also, the volume of open short positions dropped by almost 1 mil on 28/7, showing about 1 mil bought on 28/7 was to close short positions.
Volume of open shorts was down to 751,000 on 28/7 after being constant for some time.
