What does everyone think of the current status of GRD? Huntleys perceive the stock as more risky now, having removed the income stream of Oceana Gold, leaving Minproc which is doing well, and Renewables which is still to make a profit. Huntleys downgraded the valuation to $1.70, however this does not include any value for Renewables.
Not sure of the impact of the fire at Eastern Creek - it seemed from recent announcements, passing the operating and bank feasibility tests, that Eastern Creek may well break even or post a small profit for the 06 year...
Presumeably the sale of OGD reflects that all is well with the Lancashire negotiations, and the cash will be used to fund this investment.
Anyone got any views or more information on how things are travelling?
