Most people did not support a war with UN approval, they would not support a war without UN approval. Big difference.
Also, Australia had contracts with Iraq worth over $1billion.
Surely if the French, Germans and Russians wanted to sustain their business in Iraq, they would have supported a war in the security council? Like Australia did??
