In the US alone 17mill new cars in 2015.....73mill cars worldwide......F-150 uses 388kg of aluminium worth $611 ,ford is on track to sell 700,000 units for 2015, that's 271,600 tonnes of aluminium, that's just for the F-150 alone. Ford spends 477millUS just for the F-150.....Outside china global aluminium production in 2014 was 24 mill tonnes...including china that pushes to 50mill tonnes...........The Wall Street Journal....."by 2025 18p/c of all vehicles in the US are expected to have all aluminium bodies compared with 1p/c now"....... that's an increase in demand 18 times higher than it is today...............in other words one of the biggest opportunities over the next five years are aluminium companies.
