I think pollies should be well remunerated. That's just my opinion.
I think there should be a solid test to ensure whatever they are doing is appropriate political business, and if they pass that test, then they can travel there in reasonable comfort.
And their families should be allowed to tag along with them sometimes, because they spend a lot of time away from home.
Such is the gig for a normal professional employee, and so it should be the same for the pollies.
