I still don't know what the big hurry was. Remember better known IPO's like Facebook, Alibaba etc. had a couple months notice and the exact date was known to build the anticipation and share price. Benitec isn't close, yet anyway, to other well known companies who were IPOing the right way.

As usual, investors are left wondering WTH, while our crack management team fumbles and bumbles with the entire process. Maybe it's for the best, but we are left in the dark as shares are converted and then unconverted. Maybe the data isn't good on patient 6, maybe it's more than they expected. I had maybe about 10,000 ADRs that friends and family were ready to buy, but my phone has been vibrating like hell with questions that I don't have the answers to. I get asked questions like "I'm not so sure about buying into a company that operates like this". The usual sigh, business as usual.
