So by my reckoning Wellington can acquire another 100 million shares before they hit the 20% threshold that would stop acquisition and potentially force a takeover bid.
I'm not convinced they will launch a bid. I suspect they are buying for growth. I guess time will tell but it could take a while if they are happy to accumulate slowly.
