hey don't laugh, i've seen it before.
back in the tech wreck days, i remember a night where the futures totally crashed, then by the time the dow opened, they were even to positive, and the dow fired right up.
have also seen occasions where the futures have fallen sharply, and the down has done the opposite. the futures are a guide, but like all indicators .. not a rule.
