Strong research support for EDE claims, page-18

Some interesting reading. Didn't know so much science behind concrete.
What I found most interesting was the research conducted by Georgia DOT. By altering the composition of the concrete you can make concrete to perform differently in certain circumstances eg. Adding fly ash, thus increasing strength. What was evident was that it was difficult to get both strength and low (good) permeability...correlation was 0.55. Edencrete looks to have an advantage here in the tests results released so far...not only increased strength (above all performance mixes in DOT research) but also significant improvements in permeability. Maybe you can have both?

What I would like to see (besides a successful pour tonight) in the next month or 2 is Edencrete trialled in some of the other concrete mix compositions (my understanding results released are only mix with ordinary portland cement). This could unearth even more uses for edencrete!
