Hard to pick isn't it, if there are multiple professional entities looking to build a long position, plus the possibility of a sponsoring body looking to control the price within a range for the ADR then there might not be any latitude for them to force the price down in search of stops or supply for fear of their 'competitors' scooping up and holding on to the stock. Ultimately we have no idea what's going on behind the scenes and worst case this might be some masterful pump to distribute from, although IMO it doesn't seem likely.
