Certainly competition to ADO. it sounds like they are re inventing some what the batteries actual interior space. Forming the yoke shape and using different materials. Upgraded production or new facilities may be needed.
It does not sound as 'drop in' as ADO product is and all while utilising existing manufacturing facilities and production lines.
Certainly ADO need to work fast to be first off the rank. It sounds like Apple may already have already started testing it.
