Not sure where your coming from but for the sake of the argument I generally avoid stereotyping people.

Just because we have terrorist acting in the name of Muslims, doesn't mean all Muslims are terrorists.

Aboriginals make up a big % of people in jails, not all aboriginals are criminals.

IMO some gays are just sexual deviates, I accept some people are naturally gay.

As for male dominated unions, I would say that many of these males would not openly defend gays to their males fellow workers but privately hold different views
