"Hardly a day goes by than Tony Abbott reminds Cabinet [ie. Turnbull] that they have to do exactly as they're told."

Lapdog, we have a parliament that operates on the Westminster system and traditions, one of which is Cabinet unity.

Once a decision is made, it is binding on the ministers in cabinet and that is how it has been since our country had operating parliaments in each of the colony's.

TO try and make out that Abbott is a dictator etc is simply mindless anti Abbott drivel for which you are famous.

All MP's in the Liberal party are free to cross the floor and vote how they will, on any bill at any time. However ministers in cabinet have to resign their position if they cannot support a cabinet decision.

Contrast that to the Labor party, where any member who crosses the floor is expelled from the party. And surprise surprise, they also demand 100% loyalty and unity from their Cabinet ministers.
