Why is the Australian economy stuffed?
The area where I live is going gangbusters. None of the builders can look at any new business before the end of the year, and any real estate that comes on the market is sold within one or two weeks unless grossly overpriced. Local businesses are also flat out, even during what is usually the slack period for tourists. I was in northern NSW during the week and was told that the scene is the same there. So how about a bit of evidence for your ridiculous statement.
