The fact is that expressions of the three shRNA's were detected in the liver cells of both patients in Cohort 1 and the first in Cohort 2. Not sure whether they have biopsied Patient 2.

While I agree that in itself is not necessarily indicative of an actual reduction in viral load it is an absolute requirement in instigating a reduction. To me that is a real positive.

And yes, I should have worded my statement better but the fact remains that the efficacy side of the equation is off to a promising start.

In that regard I would be grateful if you could direct me to any experimental results that contradicts that fact as I'm always eager to learn more.
