Just like the electricity bill. Power over the past couple of years has gone down, it is the service charges that have risen to make the bill more expensive. Government say they have no control over the service charges, but they do have control over what companies can charge us for the consumption of power. Hence why government always say we are reducing the cost of electricity to the public, not reducing the total bill to the public.

In other words like the banks were before they were reined in when they were making more out of the fees than the interest that they charged
