The polls and the betting markets don't always match up, but they seem to be converging - the markets for the next party leader to replaced have also worsened for Abbott, paying out around $1.50 for Abbott to be replaced next, compared with Shorten at around $2.50.
The libs facing the prospect of losing their seat will probably be on the phones this week.
