Zero Hedge has an interesting article titled 'The HFT 'Treasure Map'..." which describes how HFTs in the United States basically impede fair trading. Being from the US I have little knowledge of HFTs in Australia. Could anyone give me a brief overview of whether HFTs exist in Australia and if so, are they a factor to contend with or are they too small. Also, is it possible that Lynas is crabbing sideways because of this type of trading.
