This item appeared on the BBC’s Trust Me I'm a Doctor a couple of weeks ago, featuring a patient in the Phase 2 trial and someone who has enrolled in the Phase 3 . The BBC reporter , a surgeon, admits she is cynical ….her findings are interesting and her comments on the quality of the trial illuminating. Watching this, it is not hard to understand why MSB reports considerable corporate interest in the trial . This can hardly be surprising given the lack of alternatives and suggests that if it clears Phase 3 , could potentially create a market worth billions.
